British Fashion Awards 2011 – Entire story

2011 British Fashion Awards has now come and gone! It was a huge night on the industry schedule with a whole host of designers, models and celebrities in attendance. Taking out the night’s top award was Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who won the prestigious Designer of the Year Award. The win rounds out an incredible year for Burton, who was charged with the once-in-a-lifetime honor of designing Kate Middleton’s royal wedding gown.

Another big award was handed to Victoria Beckham, who beat off Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Burberry to take home the Best Designer Brand prize which was given to her by Marc Jacobs. Although McCartney didn’t go away empty-handed, she was awarded the gong for Red Carpet Award. While Stella Tennant was named Model of the Year and Alexa Chung took out the British Style Award for the second year in a row, go girl!
